General Funding
Due
to the global
economic recession
Chipembele Wildlife
Education Trust
has a funding
crisis. Only
half of the
funding required
to run the Centre
has been secured
for 2010 meaning
that unless
more funds are
found it will
not be open
and running
for half of
the year. In
addition there
are no funds
whatsoever for
running all
of the other
projects (schools
improvement,
pupil sponsorship,
community projects
and environmental
protection).
Steve and Anna
have been completely
unpaid since
the outset of
the project.
We
are particularly
looking for
a large corporate
body, interested
individual or
NGO with whom
we can enter
a long term
relationship,
with commitments
and agreements
on both sides.
This would hopefully
allow us to
continue the
projects, with
the long term
vision of developing
the Centre further.
It would also
establish much
needed financial
security for
the project.Chipembele

excellent reputation
at local, national
and international
level, with
a track record
of integrity,
commitment and
efficacy at
grass roots
level.
