Africa Hope Fund is a Non Profit Organisation dedicated to helping people of Africa live productive and healthy lives. Carol Van Bruggen (Founder and President of the organisation) and her husband Steve Kuhn (Director), visit South Luangwa at least once a year and provide hands on support to our programmes. The Africa Hope Fund also financially supports our Conservation Education Outreach Programme and sponsors a number of students through Chipembele to attend school and college. |

Awely - Des animaux et des hommes is an international organisation based in France that focuses on the conservation of endangered species and the ecosystems they share, but maintains that conservation and development projects must proceed together. Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust and Awely are partnered in a Human Wildlife Conflict programme in the local schools. |

Creating for Conservation (C4C) is a biannual charitable art event held in Adelaide, Australia. The funds raised as a result of the event are donated to conservation organisations across the globe. Chipembele is closely linked to C4C and has been the recipient of generous funds. |

EleFence International (US) supports Chipembele to provide some resources and funds for our projects. EleFence's mission is to support projects which reduce and resolve Human Elephant Conflict. They have provided funds to purchase a computer and assisted with project costs, as well as to assist in the building of our Elephant Boma, Keeper's house and stall. The Boma was built in 2009 for the purpose of having a secure holding area for stabilising the infants and young orphaned elephant which are rescued in the South Luangwa, before their transfer to the Elephant Orphanage Project at Kafue. |

Elephant Charge is supporting Chipembele in 2012. The Elephant Charge is an annual off-road motorsport challenge held in the Zambian bush to raise money for conservation and wildlife education causes. It is a unique and exciting team event for cars and motorbikes that requires stamina combined with excellent driving and navigation skills. Held each year in October, the event brings together competitors, their families and supporters for a weekend of fun and competition in the Zambian wilderness. In 2012 the Elephant Charge is commited to funding local conservation organisations working all over Zambia with children and wildlife to help ensure a secure and sustainable future for our diverse natural environments. Chipembele is one of the recipients of this year's Elephant Charge. Elephant Charge supported Chipembele in 2011 with a $5000 grant, the 2012 Elephant Charge has once again committed to providing Chipembele with a generous grant. Monarto and Adelaide Zoo is providing Chipembele with support through fundraising activities in Adelaide, South Australia. The Zoo's are a non-profit conservation charity. They provide conservation education, as well as supporting and conducting many conservation, breeding and research programmes. As part of the conservation efforts they run Adelaide and Monarto Zoos and Warrawong Sanctuary; all working within the WAZA guidelines for the ethical treatment of animals. In 2012 their Creating for Conservation art exhibition and fundraiser, in partnership with Painted Dog Conservation inc. (Perth) is supporting Chipembele with 100% of the proceeds raised. |

Norman Carr Safaris is one of the leading safari operators in the Luangwa Valley. Their Kapani School Project raises money for Yosefe School in Mfuwe and sponsorship of pupils. Pupils from this school regularly attend Chipembele. Norman Carr Safaris supports Chipembele via the Luangwa Community Conservation Fund (LCCF). Norman Carr Safaris has partnered with Aardvark Safaris and Chipembele to provide a Carbon Offset Scheme for guests and tree planting initiatives with the schools they support. |

Oli Dreike Photography Oli Dreike is a safari camp manager, guide, conservationist and wildlife photographer, who has worked in the safari industry for the past decade. He also started the Dreike Scholarship Fund. Oli kindly donated his time and photography skills to document, in pictures, our Wildlife Education Centre and Classes. His images are predominately used throughout our site. |

Lion Camp is one of the prestigious lodges in South Luangwa and is committed to supporting conservation in South Luangwa. The Lodge is financially supporting Chipembele conservation education programmes and has also partnered with Pack for a Purpose (US). By asking travelers to pack 5 lbs (2.27 kgs) of supplies, Pack for a Purpose felt they be able to involve everyone who wanted to add value to his or her trip by participating. By delivering the supplies directly to the traveler's accommodation, it would be possible for every traveler to contribute! A couple of kilos would take only a small space, require little effort and still make a big impact. Painted Dog Conservation Inc (Perth) (PDC Inc) provides support for projects in Africa that are actively conserving the endangered African Wild Dog which is also known as the African Painted Dog. Originally focussed on the Painted Dog Research Project in Zimbabwe, they now support projects in Zambia, including Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust and Zambian Carnivore Programme (see below) and also projects in Namibia. The African Wild Dog is the most endangered large carnivore in Africa, and is 'red-listed' by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The founders of PDC Inc are Greg Gibbard, John and Angela Lemon, Richard (Dick) Watson, Chris and Margie McClelland, May and Wilf Core and Lyn Clune. PDC Inc activities are endorsed by Sir Richard Branson. |

Project Luangwa is a charitable organisation formed by the Safari Operators of South Luangwa as a part of their commitment to responsible tourism. Their aim is to create an effective, coordinated approach to helping local communities improve their long term economic prospects whilst avoiding a negative impact on the environment and wildlife. Project Luangwa and Chipembele work closely together and often partner in school related projects. |

Schulprojektesambia supports improvement projects in the local schools that are carried out by Chipembele. Long time Chipembele supporters from Switzerland have created a School Support Project for the children of the Mfuwe area - Schulprojektesambia (School Project Zambia). SLCS - South Luangwa Conservation Society is a Zambian registered non-profit organisation committed to the conservation and preservation of the local wildlife and natural resources of the National Park and surrounding game management areas by operating a professional anti-poaching unit and carrying out conservation and education projects in the area. Chipembele Directors have a place on the board of trustees of the SLCS. SLCS is supporting Chipembele's Conservation Education Programme in the local schools. |

Track and Trail River Camp is located on the banks of the Luangwa River opposite South Luangwa National Park. They specialise in safaris with an emphasis on photography. They are supporters of Chipembele.

Tribal Textiles a local production, sales and export business produces unique hand-painted traditional and contemporary fabrics. They are friends and supporters of Chipembele. Their textiles mix traditional African art with contemporary designs, drawing inspiration from the stunning Zambian wildlife and surroundings. Each piece is drawn and painted by local Zambian men and women in a rich palette of hand-mixed colours, providing jobs in an area where employment is scarce. |

The Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia organises Chongololo Clubs (for Primary Schools) and Conservation Clubs (for Secondary Schools). They promote wildlife conservation through pupils’ voluntary interest and attendance at the clubs. Pupils from the local Chongololo and Conservation Clubs regularly attend Chipembele. |
