Please see a list of items that are always required by clicking here, or contact info@chipembele.org to see if there are any specific items that are required around the timing of your visit.

Alternately, you can bring the goods with you if you visit Chipembele, or any lodge or camp you are staying at whilst in South Luangwa will arrange for the goods to be delivered to or collected by us.

Visit our Centre
If you are visiting South Luangwa we would love to meet you and we welcome tourists to our centre. It is located in a beautiful and wild part of the Lower Lupande Game Management Area, 16km (10 miles) southwest of Mfuwe on the Luangwa River.

Independent travelers should phone or e-mail ahead to make a mutually convenient appointment. Tourists staying at camps or lodges should speak with the management to arrange a visit on their behalf.

There is an Africana library, an internationally acclaimed interpretive room full of natural history displays and exhibits, and a playground for the more adventurous or young at heart! A donation of $10 per adult is suggested.
