International Conservation Exchange in Partnership with Monarto Education (Zoos SA) & Pulteney Grammar School.

Our Supporter's Wall is growing and we are so excited to have the support of 19 fabulous organisations, families and individuals from all around the world, who have already come on board and shown their support by buying a tile! Our artists are happy for the work and they are doing a beautiful job. Chipembele Centre is vibrant with all the new designs and tiles adorning Your Supporter's Wall.

What It's All About

With your vital involvement and the support of Monarto Education (Zoo SA) we will be conducting a ground-breaking International Conservation Exchange, linking our Chipembele Conservation Club students with students from Pulteney Grammar School Conservation Corps in Adelaide, Australia. In June 2013, 15 of Pulteney's Conservation Corps students will be travelling; self-funded, to Zambia. In 2014 ten of our Chipembele Conservation Club students will be visiting Adelaide - a true international conservation education exchange. We will need all the help we can get to achieve this ambitious Programme - and our Zambian Conservation Club students need your assistance.

Just imagine how exciting it will be for our rural students and how it will open their eyes to the opportunities of the wider world. It seems a long way off to be fund-raising for 2014, however, our students will need visas and also for the first time, passports. The organisation will be complex from this remote rural area, and we know from many years experience of working in Zambia the time it can take to accomplish these bureaucratic tasks. The Zambian students will be home billeted in Adelaide with Conservation Corps student's families, but airfares, visas, passports and other set up costs (e.g. travel bags and suitable clothing) must be funded. That's where you come in!

You can be part of this truly unique, innovative and lasting programme for the future of Zambian young people, encouraging links with Australian students and sharing their culture and environment. The Exchange programme is designed to assist lifelong involvement in the stewardship of the Earth.

All of the proceeds from the sale of the tiles (minus local artists fees) will be put into Chipembele's Zambia Student's Fund
You can purchase a tile via our secure PayPal portal, just visit our website here: www.chipembele.org/supporterswall

Go on... get creative! Design a tile (or let our artist do it for you) and 'have your name in lights' on the wall and on the Virtual Wall on our website. Being a part of the Chipembele Supporter's Wall is a whole lot of fun!

Warmest wishes to you all,

Anna and Steve

PS: Here's the 'Virtual' Chipembele Supporter's Wall so far... We would love to see you here!

Thank you to each of you for your kind support!
