Chipembele Conservation Education Center
Our internationally acclaimed Conservation Education Centre is located on the banks of the Luangwa River, 16km southwest of Mfuwe, in an area of the Lower Lupande Game Management Area. It comprises of a well-equipped classroom, library and a large Discovery Room full of wildlife and environmental displays and exhibits. The Centre welcomes children from local schools who attend for a full day of lessons and activities twice a week during term time, but it is open for anyone, particularly members of the local community. It also has ‘the Walk of Life’ (representing 4.5 billion years of the earth’s history).
