Nature Field Centre
Chipembele has embarked on an exciting new venture within its Outdoor Conservation Education Programme: the creation of a Nature Field Centre. Set on 16 hectares of pristine wilderness along the Luangwa River, just 3 km from the established Chipembele Conservation Centre, this project will be a landmark for conservation education and research in Zambia.
Vision
The Nature Field Centre will be an inspirational hub where local youth, communities, scientists and conservation organisations come together to learn, research and protect Zambia’s natural heritage. It will provide both immersive outdoor education and a well resourced base for vital scientific work.
