Chikondwelero
Chikondwelero means Celebration in the local language and is an occasion for all the club members from the different schools to get together.
MAC/ACL programme
The Mentors at Chipembele (MAC) programme is now called the Aspiring Conservation Leader (ACL) programme and is an intensive year-long training for students who have finished secondary school, and who have the potential to become conservation leaders for Zambia. It aims to bridge the knowledge gap for school leavers wanting to enter conservation careers and includes lectures, a field-based camp, participation in scheduled Chipembele conservation activities, work experience placements and a week-long career development trip to Lusaka.
Tisamale Global Exchange
Tisamale means ‘We conserve’ in the local language and was an exchange programme between Australia and Zambia.
